How to Make a Clean and Organized Makeup Bag

First and foremost, it is critical to understand what is contained within your makeup bag. It's pointless to take up space and add weight to your load with items you rarely use. Take a good look inside your makeup bag... Pick the things you use most frequently (I'm talking about products you use on a daily basis), and then either throw away the rest of the stuff in a bin or transfer it to a different bag that you can use for different events. This is also a good time to reevaluate your makeup and makeup routine. Another thing to keep an eye out for when doing this are expiration dates or other signs that your products have gone bad. Alterations in colour, separation, and smell are all indications that the product's expiration date has passed, in addition to the date printed on the packaging itself. 2. How to Clean Your Makeup Products:
Most of your makeup and tools for applying makeup can be cleaned quickly with a cotton pad soaked in eye makeup remover. Makeup brushes, on the other hand, require a little more tender, loving care when cleaning. Fill a sink or large bowl with shampoo water and soak your brushes for a few minutes. After this amount of time has elapsed, put the brush heads in a sink full of running water and keep them there until the water in the basin below is clear. It is best not to let water run down into the brush if at all possible, as this can cause the brush to become damaged. Place the brushes on a towel on a radiator to dry for at least an hour. After wiping down and washing your makeup products, they will be in great shape to go back into your makeup bag after the next step.
The first step in cleaning any makeup bag is to empty its contents. Yes, this was touched on in the "decluttering" step; however, taking it a step further, in order to clean the inside of the bag thoroughly, you must then get rid of any debris at the bottom or corners of the bag. Wipe it off with a cotton pad soaked in makeup remover, rubbing in the same direction as the stitching. To finish cleaning the inside of the bag, spritz it with anti-bacterial spray. A weekly spray of this into your bag is a great habit to develop to avoid the accumulation of germs and bacteria. Especially when it comes to products that we apply directly to our faces.
